Semana 79: ¡¡Bautismo de Adrian!!

What's up guys! I hope everyone has a phenomenal week, I sure did!

El Compa

Tuesday was transfers and my comp and I were receiving a lot of calls throughout the mission with bus complications but we somehow figured everything out. Meanwhile, we were leading a devotional for the new trainers and the trainees. That meeting finished, we got everyone and their suitcases in taxis and sent them to the bus station. Everyone got to their areas safely and my companion and I were absolutely gassed.

Las Sabritas

Wednesday was a pretty normal day... besides the fact that our mission president made us cancel all of our appointments to go to some of his appointments with his investigators. We helped him put some people on date, and watched as he contacted randos on the street and invited them to be baptized.

Just Appointment Things

My first Sunday in Los Lagos, a dad of this active family came up to us and said, "I have been sober for several months now, I feel like it's my time to get baptized so my family and I can go to the temple". We asked him when he wanted to get baptized and he said, this next Sunday because it's my birthday. So our boy Adrian got baptized this last Sunday! His son (who is a priest in the ward) baptized him. It was so special. His daughter gets her mission call in a week as well. God's timing is so perfect <3

Bautismo de Adrian

I visited one of my converts in my old ward in Xalapa which was so special. It was amazing to see how much progression she has made in just 6 months being a member. She's finished the Book of Mormon and is in the middle of reading Saints right now. She's probably my best friend in the mission hahaha

Pday

Saturday we had a zoom meeting with 4 stake presidents in our mission and with the area 70 to propose a plan for our mission and the stakes within our mission. The area 70 loves to crap on missionaries. I don't know why but we tried to defend our case but I don't think he got it.

Zoom calls

That's about it! I love you all!
