Semana 75: A Week of Many Miracles
Hey Everyone!! I am so sorry for not writing last week, I didn't have much to say. I do and have been doing the same exact thing every single day for 17 months, it's a little difficult trying to make these weekly email entertaining.

Two weeks ago, I went to Xalapa for our Mission Leadership Council which was great. Our mission President wants us to focus on our missionary purpose of finding, teaching, and baptizing and he put a huge emphasis on how it is important that the leaders in the mission set the example for their zones by baptizing people in their areas. He literally told all the Zone Leaders that if you aren't baptizing, you will no longer be a zone leader. Hype.
We had zone conference. We talked about the same exact thing and our mission quote for this transfer is "it's time to go to work". I've been extremely dedicated to trying to find all of the elect that I possibly can.

Interviews with President consisted of me trying to help President turn on his camera so we could do a videochat. After 5 long minutes, he gave up and asked if we could say a prayer. We finished the prayer and I was ready for the interview to start when all of a sudden he said "Alright thanks Elder Scown we love you!!"... and hung up. That's basically what an interview is like with our mission President. Love him.

This past week was probably one of the most successful weeks in my mission. We found 16 new people to teach including 2 entire families, 6 people came to church, and we were able to put 6 people on date for baptism for February 6!! After 2 weeks of struggling to find new people to teach, my comp and I finally are starting to see the fruits of our labors and I feel extremely blessed.
