Semana 79: ¡¡Bautismo de Adrian!!

What's up guys! I hope everyone has a phenomenal week, I sure did!  El Compa Tuesday was transfers and my comp and I were receiving a lot of calls throughout the mission with bus complications but we somehow figured everything out. Meanwhile, we were leading a devotional for the new trainers and the trainees. That meeting finished, we got everyone and their suitcases in taxis and sent them to the bus station. Everyone got to their areas safely and my companion and I were absolutely gassed.  Las Sabritas Wednesday was a pretty normal day... besides the fact that our mission president made us cancel all of our appointments to go to some of his appointments with his investigators. We helped him put some people on date, and watched as he contacted randos on the street and invited them to be baptized.  Just Appointment Things My first Sunday in Los Lagos, a dad of this active family came up to us and said, "I have been sober for several months now, I feel like it's my time to g

Hey everyone! It's been a while since I've sent a weekly, I hope you all are having an incredible winter season and feel the infinite love that the Savior has for each of you❤ Zacapoaxtla View About a month ago, Agua Dulce got hit with a massive cold front. The daily highs dropped from about 85 to 50 degrees. We ripped out the sweatshirts from the suitcases and continued working. I was FREEZING!! I don't know how I am going to handle BYU lol. About 2 weeks ago, due to the change of weather and the crazy amount of rain we received, my health took its toll and I was sick for an entire week straight with the flu.  Shhhh My companion and I found a family of GOLD! A mom, dad and 3 sons at the age of baptism. They came to church with us twice, put them on date... anddd they moved to another state in Mexico. We passed the referral and the bishop and sister missionaries are preparing them to get baptized. Ni modo. Dimas y Familia Papantla My companion and I traveled 3 and a half ho

Hey Everyone!! I am so sorry for not writing last week, I didn't have much to say. I do and have been doing the same exact thing every single day for 17 months, it's a little difficult trying to make these weekly email entertaining.  Selfie In the middle of an orchard Two weeks ago, I went to Xalapa for our Mission Leadership Council which was great. Our mission President wants us to focus on our missionary purpose of finding, teaching, and baptizing and he put a huge emphasis on how it is important that the leaders in the mission set the example for their zones by baptizing people in their areas. He literally told all the Zone Leaders that if you aren't baptizing, you will no longer be a zone leader. Hype.  Leadership Council MLC The boys We had zone conference. We talked about the same exact thing and our mission quote for this transfer is "it's time to go to work". I've been extremely dedicated to trying to find all of the elect that I possibly can.  Zo
