I hope you are all doing well! This past week was pretty baller and we found a lot of great success! I am going to try and recount everything that happened but when it comes to the point where I have to write this email, I feel like we didn't do anything too crazy. But I promise you all that I am staying obedient and working really hard!

La Garcia

We went on exchanges with the boy, Elder Mendoza! The man is such a stud and we are definitely going to be roommates at the start of my second year of college when he gets back. That's right I ain't getting married quick like the rest of the ex-missionary simps! :) Also shoutout to my New York trainer for getting engaged this last week. You will be missing a huge life of a party at your wedding but I'm sure my mom with make a great replacement.

Duck Face

While we were on exchanges, we passed by this Catholic lady on the street and she invited us into her house. We began talking about religion and everytime we asked her about anything controversial she just responded "I'm just Catholic". It went on for 30 minutes until we gave up and left. When we finished the prayer at another lesson, the grandma and mom said, "OH MY GOSH you two are SO CUTE together! You HAVE to send us a wedding invitation!!" The funny part is that we just finished teaching them the Law of Chastity so we knew instantly who was really paying attention. It made us question being roommates after the mish.

Buenas Tardes

I got sick again... it's starting to become a weekly thing. #lloroconchorro

We put the newbie up front in the taxi to help him learn how to contact. The new Elder started talking, looked back at me occasionally to help him with words and translating what the taxi driver said. The taxi driver realized instantly that the missionary was new and started saying a ton of cuss words... Taxista: "Esa madre está bien chingona!"  New Innocent Missionary: "Simon! Esa madre está bien chingona!!"  I was dying laughing and we had to tell him in english to stop repeating the taxi driver.

El Tingey y Los Days

The Newbie missionary and I contacted a guy on the street and it turns out that the whole fam bam is really interested! This area that I am in is really difficult because the investigators progress really slow. But I am trying to be patient and understand that fast progress doesn't happen like it does in Petromex. But we are baptizing someone on Sunday so we are chilling!

Los Elderes

All of our elect people turn out to live in other areas... we've passed a good 10 people over to the missionaries in the area next to us and a baptismal date for this Sunday to the Assistants who live on the other side of our area. I feel like I am working for every area except my own but we chillin! Souls saved I can't complain.

La zonaaaa

The Bishop's daughter in my last area sent me a message and said "te espero <3" which means "I am waiting for you". Mexico is an interesting place sometimes. Help.
