Mis amados mamahuevos  <3 WhatsApp Foto de Perfil I hope you are all doing well! This past week was pretty baller and we found a lot of great success! I am going to try and recount everything that happened but when it comes to the point where I have to write this email, I feel like we didn't do anything too crazy. But I promise you all that I am staying obedient and working really hard!  La Garcia We went on exchanges with the boy, Elder Mendoza! The man is such a stud and we are definitely going to be roommates at the start of my second year of college when he gets back. That's right I ain't getting married quick like the rest of the ex-missionary simps! :) Also shoutout to my New York trainer for getting engaged this last week. You will be missing a huge life of a party at your wedding but I'm sure my mom with make a great replacement. Duck Face While we were on exchanges, we passed by this Catholic lady on the street and she invited us into her house. We began tal

Semana 57: Matar Gente

Hey Hoodrats! This week was pretty dope not gonna lie, besides the fact that the Mexican food turned against me... again. I hope I make it home to see all of you guys before the oil and dough kills me. We are just thriving over here in San Bruno. We were forced to stop teaching an amazing family because the husband starting researching our church before we even taught him anything. He came across the Book of Mormon, started reading it and went on a total rampage about it not being the word of God. I convinced him to keep listening to us because he never even gave us the opportunity to explain ourselves. He agreed to keep listening to us but it didn't last much longer as the next day he told us "aight I'm done"  RIP! We went on exchanges with the Assistants and I went over to their area again, it was so much fun! The two AP's are American missionaries and this was literally the first time during my 8 months here in Mexico, that I was with an another American missio

Semana 56: The Pit of my Soul

T his week was pretty mediocre to be honest. We were assigned to do a 10 minute facebook video where we had to talk about our plan here on earth. I wanted to do it in one shot and get it over with. My comp had a completely different idea. He wanted to film the coolest mission video anyone has ever seen. The only issue is that my companion is a crazy perfectionist and gets way too distracted. It took just about the entire week. I don't feel like we did anything in regards to missionary work besides this stupid video. We ended up finishing Saturday night. The sister missionaries didn't even post it. I am never doing a video like that again. During P-day, we went paint balling again and it left me with some pretty good bruises. One of the sister missionaries sprayed pepper spray on the floor and all of us started dying. I've never seen someone find a more complicated and time wasting way to kill a bug than my companion. We had Mission Leadership Council this week and it was wa

Semana 55: Lessons with President

Sooo sorry for not writing an email last week!! I am a little pressed for time but I will give a short recap of the past two weeks.  Two weeks ago was week 6 of my transfer with Elder Guerrero, we went crazy crazy and found 19 new people to teach and helped a lot of missionaries in the zone to stay happy and motivated! The best part of the week was going to lessons with President Perkins. We were in the middle of zone classes when Prez called us and said (Batman voice) "I have 3 appointments and I need you to come with me". We ditched the zone and left our district leaders in charge to go help him out. We got to his "area" and I swear he literally found the poorest area in all of Xalapa to find people to teach. We stopped by the first house and they cancelled on us. President looked at me and said "Lets go street contacting" and I responded "arrrre". President is by far the most fearless man and goofiest street contacter I have ever seen in my en
