Semana 14

Hello my amazing friends and family! Nothing too crazy went on this week... I am just happy to be here :)

Driving holla

Our friend, Bobbie, has been struggling with priesthood authority and baptism these past few lessons but we know that once she gets over this little bump in the road she will be golden! She is so elect and has family who are members and she actually keeps commitments which is so great. She is very intelligent and comprehensive to the things we teach her. We are so grateful for her and her willingness to listen to our message because our teaching pool is getting smaller by the minute ahah! I don't know if other missionaries have the same problem but it is really hard to get people to keep commitments over the phone especially when we don't know who they are on a personal level. That is why I am so stoked to go to Mexico hopefully soon because I need more person to person interaction hahah!

Our friend Percy is a meme and a half he is a total goofball and can barely hear bc he's so old. He looks like a Santa who hasn't eaten for 2 years and he always invites us over to watch the Ten Commandments with him despite the 20 times we told him that we can't. We love the man to death but we aren't sure how far he can go because there is no way we can get him to church.

We've been messaging this man named Sean off of Facebook Messenger. He is a rapper and seems like a pretty cool guy. We found out he's from Nigeria last week so we referred him off but he still asks us some random questions here and there, it's legit. We messaged him because his profile pic was a picture of Jesus and this week it rapidly changed to a man with a tattooed face and grills with a gun pointing at his skull and we were like what the ahaha!

Snow!!!

We went to drop off a Book of Mormon to this guys house and we didn't have phone service to find our way back to our town, so we used Google Maps to find the best possible road back to town. Welllll we went on this road and it was totally this back country road that wasn't even paved. We were driving through a stream half of the time. Elder Culebro and I thought it was a party while Elder Wilson was freaking out because he did not want to bottom out the car in this stream and ruin our new 2020 mission car that has barely 600 miles on it lol. Güd times!

That's all for this week! Love you all! Emails are greatly appreciated! Have a great Thanksgiving!

Alma 37:9
"9 And now, my son, I have told you this that ye may learn wisdom, that ye may learn of me that there is no other way or means whereby man can be saved, only in and through Christ. Behold, he is the life and the light of the world. Behold, he is the word of truth and righteousness"
