Semana 44: Pato York y Pato Trump

What is up my fellow friends and family!! I am sorry but this weekly is gonna be a drag, I have absolutely no motivation, but my companion fell asleep during primetime and won't wake up so why not write my weekly, right? To be 100% honest, this week was brutally hard. I am dying over here, if my companion doesn't kill me from working, it will be a miracle.  To say the least, never judge your companions' working habits after the first five days. My companion is very lazy. It is a nightmare trying to get him out the door and all he does is complain while we are on the streets about things he hates about our investigators, the members, and the church in general. On top of that, the two other Elders in my district are difficult and don't know how to work effectively. The Sisters are golden, shout out to Hermana Jackson and Hermana Acevedo for staying obedient and keeping me sane. 😪 Missionary for the day My companion has given me some nicknames this week that I will treasu

Que pedo chayotes. Welp we had transfers this last week and my old companion left to Martinez de la Torre on Tuesday. My new companion, Elder Tun, is such a baller.  A little strange sometimes, but a baller. He's been out for 14 months and is from Mexicali. To start off, this week was very successful, we found a lot of new people to teach and are helping others get prepared for baptism! The days have been just crazy over here in Petromex, but I am glad that I have the chance to stay for another transfer. My companion had a rough few days adjusting because his previous companion was what we like to call "muerto" (dead), so they didn't do anything all transfer. The first full day working we got back to the house at 9:30pm and my companion flopped on the floor and fell asleep, he didn't even make it to the bed hahaha! He's getting the hang of it now. Elder Tun is a character, very funny guy, but his interests are complete polar opposites from mine. He loves anime

Alright I'm gonna be straight up honest with you all, this week was not a productive week at all. As you all probably know, there is a traditional missionary holiday in Mexico that is equivalent to Hanukkah for it lasts for seven whole days. It's called P-week and it happens the 6th week of every transfer. At the start of this week my companion looked me dead straight in the eyes and said, "yeah I'm not doing anything this week", and that's when I realized that this week was going to be really difficult. We did get some good things done, we put 1 person on date for baptism but I am definitely going to repent for some unproductive times.  The Compa On Tuesday/Wednesday we had exchanges with our zone leaders and I went to their area this time. We did absolutely nothing. My zone leader has one transfer left so he is mega trunky and a mega dead missionary. But we did eat like kings so that's a plus. Hermana Martina!  Best galleta ever.   My companion and I wal
